# Refund Policy

Effective Date: 16-01-2026

This Refund Policy explains when payments made to Under Construction Technologies are refundable. All payments are processed securely through Paystack.

1. Hosting Services

Hosting (Paystack Subscriptions)

  • Hosting fees are billed via Paystack recurring subscriptions.
  • Fees are non-refundable once the billing period has started.
  • Cancellation will stop future billing but does not refund the current billing cycle.
  • Clients are responsible for canceling subscriptions before the next renewal date.

2. Domain Registrations & Renewals

  • Domain registration and renewal fees are non-refundable.
  • Once processed and submitted to the registry, domain fees cannot be reversed.

3. Email Hosting

  • Email hosting subscriptions are non-refundable once activated.
  • Each mailbox includes 3GB storage.
  • Unused time or storage is not refundable.

4. Development, Migration & Support Work

  • All hourly services are non-refundable once work has commenced.
  • Project deposits are non-refundable.
  • Completed work remains payable even if the project is paused or canceled by the client.

5. Suspensions & Terminations

  • Accounts suspended for non-payment are not eligible for refunds.
  • Data may be retained for up to 14 days after termination (subject to our Data Retention Policy).
  • No refunds will be issued after account termination due to unpaid invoices.

6. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

  • Clients agree to contact us directly before initiating a Paystack dispute.
  • Chargebacks made without prior communication may result in immediate service suspension.
  • We reserve the right to recover chargeback-related fees.

7. Exceptional Cases

Refunds may be granted at our sole discretion for:

  • Duplicate transactions
  • Verified billing errors

Approved refunds:

  • Will be processed via Paystack to the original payment method
  • May take 5 - 10 business days depending on banking timelines

8. Legal Compliance

Nothing in this policy excludes rights granted under applicable consumer protection laws.
